CheapHumidors.com Announces New Cigar Combo Kit in Support of Armed Forces

CheapHumidors.com has put together a package featuring Gurkha cigars and cigar accessories. For each kit that is sold, CheapHumidors.com will donate a cigar to a member of the military.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) August 27, 2009 -- Dave Sabot, President of CheapHumidors.com, announced a new cigar package that will be available online. This package features Gurkha Factum Cigars with an aged Cameroon wrapper, Dominican binder and Dominican Long Filler.

Additionally, the combo kit comes with a 10 cigar travel humidor lined in Spanish cedar and has a magnetic lid closure, a Lotus Vertigo Jazz single flame torch lighter, a double blade guillotine cutter and a crystal gel humidifier.

The retail price on this package is $89.99 but is available at Gurka Combo Kit for $39.99. No specials, promo codes, coupons, etc will be accepted. Cheaphumidors.com is also limiting this to only 5 per customer.

Mr. Sabot is most excited that for every combo kit sold, a cigar will be donated to a member of our armed forces, "It feels good to be able to give back to the men and women who put their lives on the line on a daily basis to protect our freedom." Dave went on to say that, "This type of program gives the consumer a way to thank our military personnel by helping to bring the comforts of home to the field."

David Sabot opened his Cheaphumidors.com Web store back in June 1997 for $45.00, hosting it on a free site with nothing more than a picture of three humidors, a price and an address to send checks to. Since then, he has grown his site in to one of the most successful cigar-related destinations online.

"In May of 1997, on Mother's Day, I was visiting my brother in New Jersey. It was a beautiful day and we sat outside on the patio. He took out some fine Cuban cigars and we started to smoke and BBQ. When I was leaving to go home he threw a few cigars at me and told me to enjoy them."

"I really didn't know too much about cigars or how to store them, so I turned to the Internet. What I found out was that you needed a thing called a humidor to properly store cigars. So I started shopping for them. I went to my local stores, consignment shops, etc. Their prices were un-real. They wanted $200-$300 for a box to store cigars. I almost fainted. I did some research and it turned out there were other people like me. Guys who wanted to store some cigars but didn't want to spend a fortune doing it. Well it doesn't take much to see there was a market here that was pretty much unfilled."

"I found a company that would supply me with humidors and I could order only a few at a time for $45 apiece. I bought one as a sample and to store my own cigars in and decided to take a picture and throw it on a free-hosted Web site. Much to my delight I started to receive orders and inquires for the product and as they say, the rest is history."

In addition to CheapHumidors.com, Dave also recently opened a second website, BuyLighters.com in early 2009.
