Valdata Systems is pleased to announce that its Chemical Management System (CMS) has been highlighted in Pharmaceutical Processing’s May 14, 2012 e-newsletter and website news feed.

The feature focuses on the ability of CMS to connect directly to scales on the production floor and the key derived benefits which include the elimination of human error, elimination of rework, 99.9% accurate inventory records and total traceability.

“The CMS Manufacturing Execution System is tied directly to the scales on the shop floor. The software receives the electronic batch record for production and verifies through bar code license plates each raw ingredient to be weighed. Once the raw ingredient has been verified and dispensing begins, the software communicates directly with the scale to verify that the proper amount has been used. If an over or under pour occurs, the software requires the proper adjustments to be made before the batch can be moved to production. The information is then fed back to the inventory system adjusting the container of raw material by the exact weight as taken directly from the scale. No human error, no time delay in entry…”
