In all of my business models I create incentive programs. I believe these programs create synergy and positive results.
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 16, 2011
Cherif Medawar, a savvy real estate investor, businessman and educator, is excited to announce he is now accepting applications for his new Inner Circle Retreats, scheduled for June 1-5 and June 8-12 in Cancun, Mexico. The Inner Circle Retreats are open to anyone who has successfully completed training through his education and investment company, Cherif Medawar Real Estate Investing (CMREI).
Designed to “break down barriers,” the retreats will consist of four days of intensive learning, evaluation of each attendee’s businesses, and personal goal setting, all of which will be facilitated and monitored by Medawar. The events will also launch Medawar’s 2011 Commercial Real Estate Challenge, whereby Medawar will give one of his commercial properties to each attendee who “graduates” from the retreat. The graduate will then have 90 days to find a national tenant to lease the property. The winner of the challenge could win $50,000 from Medawar.
“In all of my business models I create incentive programs. I believe these programs create synergy and positive results,” Medawar said. “When my members are in the classroom with me, their confidence is through the roof. We train on my strategies, role play, and work through real-life situations. But when they leave the classroom—taking that first step in finding the building, the tenant, or placing an offer—gets too intense. They back off and let life get in the way.”
That is the reason for this new destination training: to take the students out of the classroom and out of their comfort zone in order to open their minds to absorbing more information.
The curriculum for the Inner Circle Retreats is based on feedback from people who have completed CMREI training with Medawar. In a recent poll, this group identified five key areas they have found to be challenging when it comes to investing in commercial real estate:
1. It is hard to go from the classroom to the real world and make an offer.
2. Knowing what to say while on the phone with national tenants can be daunting.
3. Understanding the Letter of Intent (LOI) and filling it out with a property owner takes practice.
4. What comes first—the tenant or the commercial real estate? Sometimes that can be confusing.
5. What if the Landlord/Seller does not cooperate? How can the deal done still get done?
Each of these challenges will be addressed during the Inner Circle Retreats in Cancun, along with role playing, negotiating scenarios and brainstorming sessions about the attendees’ businesses. Read more about the Inner Circle Retreats in Cancun.
