Being the choice venue for the Today Show Home Town Wedding gave many the opportunity to see our spectacular location on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We have continued to grow our facilities and reputation considerably since then and you just have to come out and see this place to believe it. Our Bridal Showcase is one of the best times to do so.

Always the first Bridal Show of each New Year, the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club's 8th Annual Waterfront Bridal Showcase kicks off the 2009 bridal season with a new creative approach to give today's Bride innovative ideas and a cost effective experience in planning her wedding.

As opposed to the usual booth to booth approach of most Bridal Shows, this year, each ballroom of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club's gorgeous waterfront wedding venue will be decked-out in a different wedding theme. Each theme geared to the senses, will allow guests the opportunity to be a part of various scenarios throughout the complex to gather creative ideas and interact with the vendors who created these dynamic displays. Vendors will still introduce the latest wedding styles, trends, and artistic flair for brides to experience but in a more interactive setting. In addition, two fashion shows featuring the latest in wedding style for the entire Bridal Party will be held.

As Maryland's premier location for waterfront wedding ceremonies, receptions and events, the Beach Club has always provided its clients with one-of-a-kind waterfront venues paired with tremendous personal service and excellent cuisine. Erin Janes, Wedding and Events Director for the Beach Club says, "The goal for this year's Showcase is to enable brides to put themselves in these actual settings to visualize their own wedding, while seeing first-hand how it may actually appear in each of our ballrooms and adjacent reception areas."

One scenario Brides won't want to miss is the "Winter Wedding" which shows off the Club's new grand Garden Room with its Rooftop Deck, making the Beach Club a true all-season wedding and event facility. The new venue is reminiscent of a stunning garden conservatory with walls of French doors on three sides and large fireplace creating a cozy atmosphere with expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay and its glorious sunsets. Wedding ceremonies can be held here, year-round, in any weather.

Special Winter Wedding packages are being introduced at this year's Bridal Showcase as an affordable alternative to high-season weddings and to take full advantage of the new facilities at the Club. "Today's economy calls for the wedding industry to be more innovative to provide price conscious Brides and their families with a wider range of choices for their special event. Our Winter Wedding package is just one of the ways we are meeting their needs," says Dereck Janes, General Manager.

Beach Club Owner, John Wilson states, "Being the choice venue for the Today Show Home Town Wedding gave many the opportunity to see our spectacular location on Maryland's Eastern Shore. We have continued to grow our facilities and reputation considerably since then and you just have to come out and see this place to believe it. Our Bridal Showcase is one of the best times to do so."
