In honor of its 10th anniversary year, the four-diamond Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina is offering a special deal on sun-filled spring flings. With the Cambridge, Maryland hotel and resort’s Sunshine on Sale package, travelers who book two nights, receive a third night free, a savings of more than 33 percent.

“We’re all about families during the spring break season,” said Ted Kanatas, general manager of Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. “This year we’re also offering a Family Savings Plan. Guests who book a second room for children under age 18 will receive 50 percent off the prevailing rate.”

The scenic Eastern shore resort is offering a special week of complimentary and low cost spring break activities from Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 8, including the opening of the resort’s heated outdoor pools. Guests of all ages can compete in Family Iron Chef competitions and Family Olympic tournaments, which feature golf, tennis, volleyball and mini golf. An arcade room stocked with a Wii, Xbox and Playstation 3 is sure to provide hours of entertainment, along with karaoke and dancing for older kids in the teen lounge. Parents can unwind with yoga and complimentary chair massages. And, guests can celebrate the Easter holiday with egg decorating and an Easter egg hunt.

Spring break guests will be some of the first to experience the Chesapeake Bay resort’s Sago Spa & Salon, which will reopen in early spring after over $1 million in extensive renovations. Named after the underwater grass found in the majestic Chesapeake Bay, the newly modernized spa will offer an extensive menu of revitalizing treatments inspired by the Eastern Shore.

Other opportunities for recreation, relaxation and dining abound during spring months at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay. Golfers can warm up their game on River Marsh Golf Club’s 18-hole championship course.
