Nile Rodgers Presents CHIC LIVE
(PRWEB UK) 7 June 2013
This one-of-a-kind event is taking music lovers across night clubs in London back to the grass roots of how music evolved from the 1970’s New York City Disco scene into the lineage of electronic dance music that is a chart trending phenomenon today.
This event comes courtesy of Lovebox and Red Bull Music Academy who have managed to get the legendary Nile Rodgers and CHIC LIVE to headline performing iconic disco anthems such as ‘Le Freak’, ‘Dance Dance Dance’, ‘I Want You Love’, ‘Good Times’, plus hits he’s produced for other acts such as Madonna, David Bowie, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and is currently in the top 10 playing the guitar riff for Daft Punk and Pharrell hit ‘Get Lucky’ which is loved across R&B clubs in London.
DJs continuing the musical journey from disco into house include some of Chicago’s finest pioneers like Acid inventor DJ Pierre, Derrick Crater, Seth Troxler (Disco Set), Derrick May, Horsemeat Disco and many more respected across the London nightlife scene.
Tickets are priced at £25.75 so book now or miss out on one of the best parties on Friday 14th June at The Forum in Kentish Town where you’ll be transported into a musical time machine.

About London Groove
Launched in March 2004, London Groove was set up to provide a guest list service for London clubs and for people who wanted to go clubbing in the West End so they could sign up on the guest lists for their chosen club nights in the West End.
Initially catering to a range of London R&B clubs and providing a London clubs listing service, London Groove then focused on hosting its own club night in the West End every Saturday from which Soul Saturdays was born. London Groove steadily grew and has since worked with many nightclubs in London and expanded their music policy at their club nights to include Funky House, 90’s Old Skool, Party Anthems and Club Classics.
"We aim to give our customer our help, support and value for money when booking a guest list, table or area and partying with us at any of our club nights. We pride ourselves on professionalism and customer satisfaction with our endless list of clients ranging from blue chip companies to small businesses to individual guests, not to mention some of the best nightclubs in London," says Steve Prashad, Director and founder of London Groove.
