We are really excited to release this new version because we know how much it will help divorced parents. The additional features bring the quality of the custody agreement made in the program up to par with the quality of an agreement that an attorney creates.

Custody X Change, a computer software tool that allows divorced parents to create custody agreements, announced today that a new version of the software has been released. The new version lets parents add provisions to their custody agreement, create special events in their custody schedule by clicking on the day and dragging to the right times, and has the ability to export all the information in the agreement to Microsoft Word and PDF formats so changes can be made to the text of the agreement.
Divorced parents welcome the second version of Custody X Change and anticipate that the new features will provide more help in their custody situations. Parents can now create an even more personalized parenting plan on their home computers that include parenting provisions. Before parents were only able to do this through their attorney. The new interface for adding special events makes it even easier for a parent to come up with the custody and visitation schedule they want, and exporting to Word and PDF lets a parent make any changes they want to the agreement. All of this together means that parents can do more on their own to prepare for court which can save them a lot of money in legal fees. Professionals involved in custody cases can also use the software to create custody agreements for their clients.
Ben Coltrin, the creator of Custody X Change, said, "We are really excited to release this new version because we know how much it will help divorced parents. The additional features bring the quality of the custody agreement made in the program up to par with the quality of an agreement that an attorney creates."
Coltrin continued, "This means that a divorced parent in any financial circumstances now has access to creating the perfect child custody agreement without paying the high price of an attorney."
Coltrin, who recently graduated with an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, first launched Custody X Change in 2005 after an attorney approached him and asked him to write some child custody software for his law practice. Since then, Custody X Change has been used by thousands of divorced parents and legal professionals who deal with custody issues. The software has long been known for the friendly user interface that allows parents to create their custody and visitation schedule, add in holidays and vacation time, calculate the exact time-share and overnight percentage, and then print everything out in legal terms and professional documents.
The new version of the program is now available for purchase and anyone who has purchased the program in the last six months can download the new version for free.
