In response to recent news, PageMailr makes a pledge to any Chinese Internet users who use Pagemailr to hide their email address when using the Internet. "As many know, a United States based email provider has released information about some of their users email accounts under economic pressure from the Chinese government. As a result of this, some Chinese dissidents have been jailed. This apparently is not the first time that this has happened.

As long as you do not break United State's laws we will not release your email address to any government authority including the Chinese government. Know that if the authorities do not know your email address they cannot pressure the email host to surrender your name or other information that they may have on file.
