ChiroMatrix Uses “Avatar” and “Iron Man” Movie Technology for “Neural Highway” Video

ChiroMatrix, a website marketing provider for chiropractors, has utilized the technology of the films “Avatar,” “Iron Man,” and “The Dark Knight” to create an educational video about the benefits of chiropractic care.

“Some might think that we went overboard in using the gold standard for Hollywood movie production,” said Plueger, “but at ChiroMatrix we love to over-deliver on value for our clients."

Recently, ChiroMatrix added a new video feature for their clients’ chiropractic websites. When a potential new patient comes to a ChiroMatrix client site, he or she will be greeted with a video called “The Neural Highway.” This is an engaging, informative video in which a game-show host character takes the viewer on a CGI-generated 3D journey through the spinal system and illustrates how regular chiropractic care can contribute to great health.

“We knew that the video had to be more than informative. It had to be eye-opening and engaging so people would be absorbed into it, regardless of their familiarity with chiropractic care,” said Chris Plueger, Director of Sales for ChiroMatrix.

In order to craft the perfect video for their web marketing clients, ChiroMatrix chose to produce “The Neural Highway” using Autodesk Maya technology. This is the same visual effects software that major studios have used to create the Na’vi characters in “Avatar,” the fast-paced action scenes in “Iron Man” and “The Dark Knight,” and even the smoke monster in the TV series “Lost.”

“Some might think that we went overboard in using the gold standard for Hollywood movie production,” said Plueger, “but at ChiroMatrix we love to over-deliver on value for our clients. We want the chiropractors we work with to get a huge ‘Wow!’ reaction from new patients. All of our websites are designed to get new patients, so we’re constantly taking steps to make our sites even better.”

“The Neural Highway” can be customized, so when paused, a “Request an Appointment” button appears on the video screen, so a new patient can schedule an appointment right away. Use of the video is optional and available to all current clients.
