New Heath Corp. Offers Free Home Cholesterol Test Kit with Purchase of Dietary Supplement Lipidshield™ During Launch of National Cholesterol Awareness Campaign

Cholesterol self-test program aims to alert those at risk for heart attack and stroke to begin immediate cholesterol reduction program, says New Health Corp. CEO Gary Stanton.

Melbourne, FL (PRWEB) June 19, 2006 -- New Health Corp. announced the launch of a nationwide cholesterol awareness campaign which makes a free home cholesterol test kit available to anyone purchasing the company’s all natural cholesterol lowering dietary supplement , LipidShield™ . The campaign, which runs until the end of August, (National Cholesterol Education Month), will be conducted through paid advertisements and via the Internet. “Most people have no idea what their cholesterol level is, so they’re often shocked when they see a high number,’ said Gary Stanton, CEO of New Health Corp. “Once they get their ‘high cholesterol wake-up call’, most people become eager to start a program to lower their number and reduce their risk of heart attack and stroke as quickly as possible.”

Most people have no idea what their cholesterol level is, so they’re often shocked when they see a high number,’ said Gary Stanton, CEO of New Health Corp.
Cholesterol is a waxy substance manufactured in the liver and also obtained from dietary sources, primarily meat and dairy products. Used in the production of hormones, elevated levels of cholesterol in the bloodstream (over 200 milligrams per deciliter) can lead to restricted blood flow, clogged arteries, and trigger sudden heart attacks and strokes. Health officials estimate that roughly one half of all adults have unhealthy cholesterol levels, and 42 million adults have “dangerously high” levels (239 and above).

New Health Corp. markets both capsule and liquid versions of their LipidShield™ supplement as natural alternatives to cholesterol-lowering statin drugs, which have been shown to produce side effects like weakness, nausea, liver damage, and destruction of muscle tissue. LipidShield’s™ formula includes the plant-derived nutraceuticals Guggulipid, Red Yeast Rice, Niacin, Policosanol, phytosterols, and stanols and selenomethionine.

LipidShield™ is manufactured in FDA-inspected and registered CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities.

More information about LipidShield™ and the free home cholesterol test kit is available from New Health Corp. at 877-263-3555 or at http://www.lipidshield.com.
