Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 15, 2006 -- Guilty Customs, just back from their participation at the 2006 AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building held at Sturgis, SD announces their participation at the inaugural Festival of Speed at The Ritz Carlton Saturday September 30th and October 1st, 2006 in Orlando Florida.
This intimate gathering of the world’s finest automobiles, contemporary motorcycles, watercraft and aircraft will include live jazz, a premium open bar, sumptuous themed food and fine wine displays, along with a silent auction and more. All placed for display on the impeccably manicured grounds of the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes.
Quickly building upon a reputation for retro-mod styling, and highly dependable unique custom choppers, Guilty Customs will bring Lucille, their much acclaimed debut custom bike to participate in the Orlando Festival of Speed. Her name is from a line George Kennedy made famous in the 1967 movie “Cool Hand Luke”. “Anything so innocent and built like that just gotta be named Lucille”.
Guilty Custom’s CJ Hanlon along with partner and national award winning painter, Jason Gray, will be in attendance with Lucille at this two day event. Say’s Hanlon “This level of exposure and venue allows the community to see not just the quality and craftsmanship involved with Guilty bikes, but also the opportunity to meet the people that actually will build their custom motorcycle. Plus, there’s no better place to spend the day than right here in our own back yard at The Ritz Carlton!”
Guilty’s recent accolades by builders such as Cook Custom’s John Persitza and Mike Tomas of Kiwi Motorcycles say a lot about the level of detail and craftsmanship put into each bike. Says John Persitza of Cook Customs “While scanning the rows of bikes to consider for contention in the freestyle championship each time my eyes landed on "Lucille", her lines and stance caused me to make a b-line to her to check her out” Cook Customs recently won Best in Show at the 2006 Milwaukee World of Wheels Show for the bike “Nikki” and placed 12th in the Freestyle Championships at Sturgis this year.
“Since Lucille was entered in the “Freestyle” class, she had a lot of competition right out of the box with builders such as Jesse Rooke Customs, Roland Sands, Krazy Horse Cycles and many others ... I believe Guilty will be a group to watch in the upcoming years” say’s Tomas who was 1st place winner in Production Class at Sturgis this year.
Guilty Customs, (www.guiltycustoms.com) is a custom motorcycle builder that is quickly establishing itself in the custom chopper industry by bringing to the discerning consumer, innovative and “rider friendly” custom motorcycles.
