A new Illinois-based company that plans to rival Angry Birds announces the name of its first game.

Angry Birds has by far ruled the game app world over the past few years, but a new company called Appiteks announced this week that it will give Angry Birds a run for its money when its first game is released.

Chris Luck, CEO of the newly launched company, Appiteks, said the first game it will release is called Boomie vs Pirates, keeping it in line with the direction the company will primarily focus on, which is iOS apps games.

Luck noted that Boomie vs Pirates is scheduled to be released in mid-September and also warned the developers of Angry Birds that the game will be something special.

Driven by his love for games, apps, mobile devices and technology, Luck believes that his company has perfect timing to not only enter the highly competitive game apps market, but also dominate it.

Luck expects Boomie vs Pirates to rival Angry Birds, a game that has been downloaded more than 140 million times across the globe and has crossed over into mainstream marketing for items such as band aids, pillows, T-Shirts and more.

The release of Boomie vs Pirates, in Luck’s opinion, signals a change for the better within the entire industry.

“We plan to take it to another level from where it is right now,” Luck stressed. “I have a real passion for games and nothing makes me feel better as a person than seeing people absolutely love the games they are playing. We promise that Boomie vs Pirates will be one of the best games ever created.”

The chief operating officer said he has had Angry Birds on his target for a while and plans to make it an all out war.

“When it’s all said and done, Appiteks will be left standing on top,” Luck said.
