Bright Lights Business (BLB) released its list of top choices for Christmas dinner as New Yorkers start planning which eateries to make plans for for their Christmas and Christmas Eve feasts.

BLB released their list of where to eat in New York City on Christmas and Christmas Eve this week inspired by Village Voice's top 10 list of eateries to make Christmas Eve reservations for.

The list of 10 best places to make reservations for Christmas Eve dinner includes a variety of choices, from pizza at Pulino's and burgers at Big Daddy's to multi-course meals at upscale eateries and sampler plates or tasting menus at many places in between. Most restaurants started taking reservations this past weekend and are expected to book up quickly.

BLB created its own list adding top restaurants that would also be open for Christmas dinner on Dec. 25. Their list contains unique choices such as Taureau, a French Bistro specializing in Fondue, located at 558 Broome Street and Le Comptoir located in Williamsburg which is also a good choice for a Christmas brunch. In addition to the many great places available for Christmas Eve feasts places such as Lexington Brass, which will be offering a three course meal featuring restaurant favorites as well as seasonal options, have been added as restaurants offering Christmas Day dining choices and top BLB's list of top Christmas and pre-Christmas meals.

Midtown restaurant Lexington Brass offers a bistro-styled experience with an edgy, casual refinement feel. Filled with plush seating and bright natural light the eatery is one of several owned by successful restaurant and nightlife management company EMM Group. EMM Group was founded by Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm in 2006.

As December settles in and the countdown to Christmas starts to put many in to panic mode, restaurants in and around NYC have started taking reservations for Christmas and Christmas eve meals, from brunch to dinner, and as a result bloggers and columnists have started sharing their lists of top choices. With classic, comforting, cultural and unique options available there is something for everyone, no matter your culinary or budgetary preference.
