Chris Ripper Joins Chux Trux as Internet Marketing Manager

I’m incredibly excited to be back with the team at Chux, doing what I love. Chux Trux won SEMA’s 'Retailer of the Year' award in 2010, which proves how dedicated they are to being the best at what they do. And who doesn’t love being on a winning team?

“We’re a small company that’s seen growth, even in the current economy and in a very challenging industry. We’ve been aggressively pursuing retail customers, car dealerships and fleet accounts. For continued growth, we have to build a stronger online presence to remain competitive,” says Seth Gortenburg, President of Chux Trux.

“Chris is no stranger to Chux Trux and the Kansas City auto accessory business. He spent nearly 18 years with Chux in the past as V.P. of Sales & Marketing and General Manager”, says Gortenburg. “He has since gained an invaluable education having worked for a top automotive-focused internet marketing agency as their V.P. and General Manager. Combine his retail experience with his training in internet marketing, and he’s the perfect candidate to help us grow our niche. We’re thrilled to have Chris back to build our internet presence for ChuxTrux.com and TheTonneauCoverStore.com.”

Ripper is active in SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and he’s a Select Committee Member for LTAA (Light Truck Accessory Alliance), a SEMA council.

Chux Trux, an automotive and specialty parts retailer with 3 brick and mortar stores and multiple websites, was founded in Independence, Missouri in 1991. In that time, Chux has become the "go to" place for to buy automotive accessories for cars, trucks and Jeeps and have them professionally installed. Chux also runs a window tint shop that operates under the name “Chux Tint” as well as a vehicle wrap and custom graphics shop. Their newest online venture, TheTonneauCoverStore.com, is a niche ecommerce site focused solely on selling truck bed covers in the soft, roll-up styles and hard truck bed tonneau covers.
