CK Mondavi, a brand owned and operated for 70 years by C. Mondavi & Family, announced today that the company has launched mobile-device optimized sites to enhance the user experience for wine consumers using smartphones and tablets.

The main navigation for the smartphone and tablet experience was created around the oak tree that is featured on the CK Mondavi wine label. The navigation displays wine information, food and wine pairings, vineyard information, wine accolades, CK Mondavi family history and robust video content. “While the full website is functional on a smartphone or tablet, the mobile sites greatly enhance our customers’ experience,” said Marc Mondavi, co-proprietor of CK Mondavi. “The mobile sites are truly beautiful and give our mobile customers the information they need to fully enjoy our wines.”

The CK Mondavi mobile sites can be accessed from a smartphone or tablet through http://www.ckmondavi.com. The mobile sites perform much better than a traditional website on these devices. When a user accesses the CK Mondavi website using a smartphone or tablet, the website automatically detects the device and delivers an experience optimized for the mobile user.
