Online retailer, Vintage Tub & Bath, and clawfoot tub manufacturer, Cheviot Products, harnessed the power of customer product reviews to raise $10,500 for the American Cancer Society.
“As a company, we have felt the pain of cancer,” said Allan Dick, Vintage Tub & Bath Chief Marketing Officer. “We wanted to find a creative way to empower our customers to help fight this terrible disease.”
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Vintage teamed up with Canadian clawfoot tub manufacturer, Cheviot Products, to give their customers the opportunity to offer reviews of the products they purchased. For each product review submitted in October, Vintage and Cheviot would donate $5.00 to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research. The event, entitled Share your Experience - Fight for the Cure, guaranteed a minimum $3,000 contribution and a $10,500 maximum.
“We are very proud of our customers.” Allan explains. “They responded with great enthusiasm, and we reached our high goal well within the time allotted. We are also very thankful for our partner, Cheviot Products. They were eager to contribute, and we appreciate their kind generosity.”
