“Since I was a businessman, I started with a topical bible for businessmen,” Lawrence says. “When I got through with that, I decided to do one for businesswomen, and that led to the ones for fathers, mothers, teenagers, widows and ministers.”

Author Clay Lawrence adds to his collection of topical bibles with his new book, “The Names of God FATHER’S Topical Bible: King James Version” (published by WestBow Press). Geared to the specific audience of fathers, this book presents readers with tools to help patriarchs deal with daily challenges from a biblical perspective.

“The Names of God FATHER’S Topical Bible” addresses 95 frequently encountered situations in fathers’ lives, such as relationships with children in difficult times – specifically when children rebel against God. In 10 chapters, it references more than 3,000 King James Version Bible verses, to help fathers gain biblical perspective quickly and efficiently. Lawrence plans to branch out from the King James Version and publish his topical bibles utilizing four other biblical translations as well.

“Since I was a businessman, I started with a topical bible for businessmen,” Lawrence says. “When I got through with that, I decided to do one for businesswomen, and that led to the ones for fathers, mothers, teenagers, widows and ministers.”

Lawrence acknowledges the world’s fast-paced society today and presents his book as a time-saving tool for people who do not have the patience, knowledge or time to find the Bible verses that will give them encouragement and comfort in their specific situations. He hopes his books will help readers have closer relationships with God and a better understanding of the Bible and its practical application to daily life.
