Clearent Sales Executive Named Green Sheet Author

Today Clearent announced that Jeff Fortney, Vice President of ISO Channel Management, was named as the lead author for StreetSmarts, a regular column appearing in The Green Sheet, a highly popular publication dedicated to the credit card processing industry.

Fortney has been a contributing author for The Green Sheet since 2007. With this new assignment, his work will be featured in each issue of the semimonthly publication for the next year. Fortney has also written for other industry publications, and is a frequent contributor to Clearent’s blog for ISOs and agents.

Fortney has been in the financial services world for more than 35 years, and has spent the last 17 focused on credit card processing. He has a passion for writing about merchant level sales strategies, including how to provide the best merchant service, and tactics for growing residual income.
