Nat Zavier will head up Mokugift’s Canadian operations. Nat was a founding member of an international non-profit organization Rock the Vote and Rock the Nation in Canada.

“Although we are based in San Francisco, we are happy to return to our roots in Canada with a service that reflects our global sensibilities and values,” explained Krates Ng, fellow Canadian and co-founder of Mokugift. “Nat’s previous achievements with Rock the Vote and Rock the Nation make him the natural choice for leading our operations in Canada”.

“To date Mokugift has planted over 200,000 trees, “ stated Nat Zavier.

Mokugift trees are planted by farmers practicing environmentally sustainable forestry and agricultural methods in tropical zones in Central America, Africa and Asia. The plantings not only restock with native trees existing forests that have been depleted, but also contribute to more diverse, productive and economically sustainable land-use systems. Individuals can become a fan of Mokugift on Facebook to get updates on the newest ways to plant a tree.
