Climb Real Estate Group is revolutionizing the way agents interact with potential clients online with a fully functioning, in-house Video Production and Editing Suite.
When Google purchased YouTube for $1.65 billion dollars in 2006, it signaled a transformation in the preferred medium of information exchange online. As the average bandwidth of individual users increased with the pervasiveness of high speed connections, video became a more tangible option for widespread communication. Now, with YouTube's immense popularity as a sharing platform and social media tool, Google has laid out plans to include spoken word and audio content in its search indexing and to give video content SEO preference. In this video-centric landscape, Climb Real Estate Group is planning to revolutionize the way agents interact with potential clients by integrating original video content into its online presence. This October, Climb will open the doors to its own in-house Video Production and Editing Suite, which will give agents the ability to produce original video content and broadcast live over the web.
The suite itself will make use of all the tools found in professional grade production studios. Agents will have access to green screen technology, high definition cameras, and professional grade audio production tools as well as staff who will assist in production. The intent of the project is to create a new brand identity in the video realm, where clients are able to interact with agents in a visual way. While written content will still remain a core component of Climb's presence in the real estate community, video blogs will allow customers to get to know Climb's agents, learn about the buying and selling process in San Francisco, and check up on market trends in a more exciting and dynamic medium.
Agents at Climb Real Estate Group have quickly taken advantage of the new technology. Kristen Stuecher, one of the charter members of the real estate team was the first agent to produce her own agent video. "One of the reasons I joined Climb several years ago has been the fact that we are on the cutting edge of technology. No other San Francisco brokerage is offering agents like myself the ability to market and speak to buyers and sellers in this way." Kristen is not alone in embracing this new video medium. Many of the other agents have been eagerly drafting concepts for weekly vlogs, and other ideas to bring to the table. In the works now are a weekly video column on home pricing and staging, a rundown of new developments by neighborhood, insider neighborhood videos, and highlight videos of special properties of the week. In the fast paced San Francisco market, being able to grab the attention of buyers and sellers with video will play an important role in expanding Climb's business as well as informing the public on the best strategies in home purchase and sale.
