Dr. Laundry’s Tip on Tackling “Oily” Summer Stains
Salads and fresh-cut veggies - all we need is a little extra flavor. Pour on the Ranch or oil and vinegar dressing, first bite, and oops, there some spotting your favorite white shirt. Don’t be tempted to rinse it; we need to deal with the oily portion first.
1.    Carefully blot away any excess with a paper towel or cloth.
2.    Pretreat with liquid dishwashing or laundry detergent; rub it in; wait 5-10 minutes, but do NOT let the product dry out before washing.
3.    Wash the item in the hottest water recommended on the care label using detergent and ¾ cup Clorox® Regular-Bleach.
4.    Inspect the item. If any stain remains, repeat the steps above prior to drying.
