San Francisco, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) May 05, 2011
Art and fashion lovers are invited to San Francisco clothing store Skunkfunk SF for the Spring-Summer 2011 Art & Fashion Show and Benefit on Saturday, May 7th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The party will feature the work of local artists, a fashion show, a DJ spinning the hottest beats, and (of course!) cocktails. The event is all ages with no cover charge. Donations and partial proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to help those affected by the earthquake in Japan.
“Calling all Art & Fashion loving FuNkers,” said Lauren Kouffman, co-manager of Skunkfunk SF. “We will be showcasing up-and-coming local artists and some of our fabulous spring and summer looks. It will be a fun party for a great cause.”
The work of talented local artists will be on display, including pieces by Mika Fujimori, Norma Zepeda, Vee Caragay, Mina Caragay, Dan Tran and Charles Perretti. DJ Joseph Lee, who is notorious for packing San Francisco dance floors, will be holding it down on the turntables. Blue Angel Vodka, the new standard in luxury vodka, will be serving refreshments for people 21 and up.
Skunkfunk SF will highlight select looks from their Spring-Summer 2011 Collection. They will also offer special shopping discounts during the show and all weekend long.
Donations collected and partial proceeds from the Art & Fashion Show and Benefit will go to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami fund. The donation will support the Red Cross in their efforts to help those affected by the March 11th earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
