It’s no surprise that cloud computing is the dominant global trend in information technology
Cooper City, FL (Vocus/PRWEB) February 09, 2011
Linxter, Inc., provider of message-oriented cloud middleware, today announced that Founder and CEO Jason Milgram will be presenting on in-app purchasing at the upcoming South Florida Code Camp. One of the fastest growing cloud segments, in-app purchasing is anticipated to make-up thirty percent of all mobile app revenue this year.
Milgram will review how to add in-app purchasing to Windows Phone 7 Silverlight and XNA apps using a cloud integration hub running on Azure. In-app purchasing allows businesses to offer digital assets or subscriptions for purchase within an app using a credit card or through email invoicing. Milgram will also walk through how information assurance is achieved, insuring that the transactions are secure, reliable, durable, and PCI compliant.
Linxter Creative Director, Ryan Parsley, will also present on modern web concepts. In this session, Ryan will share his thoughts and processes to create web sites and apps. Front end centric, he will focus on concepts such as HTML5, CSS3 and responsive layouts.
The seventh annual South Florida Code Camp as described by Dave Noderer, software developer and Code Camp organizer, “is to provide a day of free training to IT professionals. It is one of the largest Code Camps with 14 tracks, 78 sessions, 65 speakers and over 800 attendees. The focus is primarily on Microsoft development technologies. Volunteers and speakers travel from all parts of the state to share their knowledge, making this a developer community driven event.”
“It’s no surprise that cloud computing is the dominant global trend in information technology,” explained Robert Duffner, Microsoft’s Director of Product Management for Windows Azure. "This is evidenced every day, to include the enthusiasm for the topic at the many volunteer-run Code Camps held around the country, such as the one in south Florida this week.”
