Sweet to present on Cloud Security Services: Evolving to a Higher Level

Carson Sweet, co-founder and CEO of CloudPassage®, the leading cloud server security provider, will be a featured speaker at AGC's 9th Annual West Coast InfoSec and Technology Growth Conference, which will be held February 25-26 at the Westin Hotel in San Francisco and hosted by AGC Partners.

Sweet will explore security challenges and innovations driven by emerging cloud technologies in a panel entitled, “Cloud Security Services: Evolving to a Higher Level.” The panel takes place at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, which is known as the event’s acclaimed Security Day. Sweet and his fellow panelists will discuss how cloud computing environments have changed the information security landscape, including new opportunities for leveraging cloud technologies to achieve greater security.

Sweet’s information security career has spanned nearly two decades and includes a broad range of entrepreneurial, management and hands-on technology experience. Prior to co-founding CloudPassage, he served as RSA's principal solutions architect for the financial services sector, where he specifically focused on virtualization & cloud security, Internet application controls, data protection and anti-fraud. Prior to his technology career, Sweet served in the U.S. military as a heavy anti-armor weapons specialist and, later, as a career firefighter-paramedic.
