Clutch Group announced today that J.B. Costilow has been appointed Vice President of Knowledge Management and Innovation. As head of the Knowledge Management and Innovation team, Mr. Costilow will be responsible for managing the company’s technology development strategy and building rigorous processes to ensure cost and risk mitigation in client matters.
“J.B. brings an abundance of knowledge and experience in legal technology and services to his new role,” says Brandon Daniels, President of Managed Services. “He can take amorphous market issues and develop tangible solutions to help clients tackle strategic, logistical, and administrative issues in their legal environment. Because of JB, we are prepared to help our clients deal with wide ranging issues, including compliance with the evolving Dodd-Frank OTC regulations, mortgage analysis, predictive coding & analytics deployment, and debt recovery problems. We are no longer relegated to the “LPO” segment, as we continue to focus on and develop the Professional Services for Law.”
Prior to joining Clutch Group, Mr. Costilow was a Global Practice Manager in the Litigation and Investigations Practice with CPA Global, working with internal and external stakeholders to create custom, value-added solutions. Prior to CPA, Mr. Costilow consulted for Huron Consulting and was an attorney focusing on securities and commercial defeasance issues.
Clutch Group also announced that Robert Klapp has been appointed Senior Litigation and Investigation Director working out of the company’s New York office. Mr. Klapp is responsible for overseeing the company’s managed legal, compliance, and risk projects in the Northeast. Also, Mr. Klapp will play an active role in the development and implementation of innovative services to help corporate legal departments tackle difficult challenges in heavily regulated and highly litigious environments.
Before joining Clutch Group, Mr. Klapp served as lead e-discovery counsel at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. He was responsible for managing high-profile review projects for Cravath’s premier clients across the technology, finance, and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to Cravath, Mr. Klapp also worked as an associate at Cahill, Gordon & Reindel.
