In accordance with law and University of California policy, the UCSF Capital Programs Office issued an RFP aimed at identifying a comprehensive, integrated capital management tool that would effectively and efficiently perform capital project implementation. The move towards an integrated capital project management system is part of the University of California's larger focus on operational efficiency and CMiC was selected after an objective screening process based on qualifications and a quality point rating.
