CMS Peripherals Ltd, the UK and Ireland based Value Added Distributor of data storage products and solutions, today announced the launch of the enterprise class Solid State Drives from OCZ Technology. The move comes as a response to an increasing interest from resellers addressing the needs of SME and Enterprise customers who require unparalleled performance and bandwidth across the complete spectrum of enterprise, cloud and server storage applications. CMS Peripherals believes that OCZ Technology’s enterprise products are well-positioned to address these challenges.

Paul Nevitt, Business Manager at CMS Peripherals comments “This expansion will build on the growth of the highly successful consumer product set currently available at CMS Peripherals. Enterprise customers are beginning to realize that there are SSDs designed specifically for enterprise class applications and we expect similar growth in this segment.”

Among the new products available at CMS Peripherals are the Z drive R4, the Talos 2 and the Deneva 2 SSDs. The differentiation in performance and design between Consumer and Enterprise products is evident when the functionality of the Deneva is compared to its consumer counterpart, e.g. several interface options, alternate and customised form factors and longer product lifecycles.

Chris Gibson, Northern European Sales Director at OCZ Technology Group, shared his view on the introduction of OCZ’s enterprise product portfolio at CMS Peripherals “OCZ Technology Group offers a wide range of solutions designed and manufactured specifically for enterprise, IT and OEM needs. Spearheading the range is the Deneva SSD, designed to deliver unparalleled performance, reliability and enterprise features. With storage capacities up to 1TB, it features a leading-edge SAS design that far surpasses the throughput capabilities of even the most advanced enterprise hard drives.”

Stock of the new OCZ Enterprise product set is now available to order from CMS Peripherals online (http://www.cms-store.com) or directly from the sales team.
