PlasmaRoute CNC officially announces their latest product offering, the Blaze 2 CNC Plasma Cutter System. The company is targeting their newest product at a niche market of entrepreneurs, artists, small fabrication shops and schools with tighter budgetary and/or space considerations. This four foot square cutting area system is priced at less than ten thousand dollars for a basic turnkey package.

“It is the most affordable CNC package that’s ever hit the market with all the options it possesses,” according to Steve Gustine, CEO and President of PlasmaRoute CNC LLC. Gustine goes on to say that, “This is the first table in its price range to ever include dual drives on the Y axis, a linear rail guide system, a fully functional Z drive, a digital automatic torch height control, a water table, and the capability for fifth axis rotary cutting.” All of this may sound like a foreign language to the casual reader, but to many in the CNC world, it makes perfect sense.

The Blaze 2 system differs from PlasmaRoute CNC’s standard product line, in two respects: First, it is offered primarily as a complete, turnkey system with shipping included. Second, it is a modular table requiring some assembly. “Putting it together is as simple as bolting on the four legs and plugging in the wires. The whole process shouldn’t take more than fifteen minutes,” Gustine says. “In fact,” he adds, “it takes longer to uncrate the machine than it does to put it together.”

PlasmaRoute CNC is expected to release a Blaze 2 CNC plasma table with a fifth axis rotary cutter capable of cutting up to six inch diameter steel pipe. “We hope to debut the new rotary system before summer,” Gustine says.
