The Suits & Sneakers t-shirts are just another way for fans to rally around their teams, and in this case especially, coaches, to support a meaningful cause.

Basketball coaches across the country are swapping their loafers for sneakers this weekend during the 9th annual Coaches vs. Cancer® Suits & Sneakers awareness weekend created by the American Cancer Society and National Association of Basketball Coaches, and supported by Fanatics Cares. Coaches vs. Cancer empowers basketball coaches, their teams, and local communities to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The program leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of basketball coaches nationwide to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through year-round awareness efforts, fundraising activities, and advocacy programs.

Through a collaboration with Fanatics Cares, fans can show their support for the cause by purchasing commemorative “Suits & Sneakers” t-shirts for $19.95 at,, and on individual team stores. A portion of the proceeds of all shirts will be contributed to the American Cancer Society.

Fanatic Cares will produce shirts for the following teams:

  •     Georgia Tech
  •     Kansas State
  •     St. Joseph's
  •     University of North Carolina

This marks the second cause-based initiative Fanatics Cares has entered into since its inception in November 2011.
