NaPier shares the following question for those who are seeking to work from home.

1) Would you buy the product? It's important to first consider the product. Would you buy and use the product?

2) What excites you more, the product or the opportunity. If you don't answer both, it could be a sign to look for other options.

3) Are the products of personal interest to you? Most people can not do well with products they can't relate to.

4) Is the business one of those "We do the work, you get paid" type of businesses? The fact is, wouldn't we all just sit at home and collect a check if it were that simply?

5) What type of training and support is offered? Working directly with someone who is successful in the business greatly enhances your success rate. Does the company have live event training where you can meet others in the business?

6) Can you see yourself earning an income with the company? If you can't see yourself earning an income with the company, move on.

7) Are there multiple ways to retail the product? The best products have several retail segments that you can market to.

8) Do you have time for the business? It's important that you confirm the time required to be successful in the business.

9) Can you reach your income goal in the time you seek? It's important that you earn a high profit margin in your business, so choose products that have high profit margins.

10) Is there a proven track record associated with the product/ service, business opportunity and marketing methods? A proven track record give you methods to use that are proven to help you become successful in your new business.

11) What support tools are available? You want to choose a business that has tools that are already created so you don't have to spend your time and resources creating marketing materials.

12) Can you do what they do? As you gather information about different homebased businesses, you'll want to ask yourself, can I do what they do?

13) Does it seem to be a bunch of hype? Use your own judgement, do their claims seem to be true or is your BS meter going off?

14) How much do you get paid? This is one of the most important questions. The higher the profit, the easier it will be for you to reach your income goal.

15) Is there technical support? Everyone is in a different place, if you have technical issues, are there people who can help you with that?

16) Would you share the product with your friends? No, not bug your friends, but really share the product with your friends?

17) Are there monthly product purchase requirements? You don't want to fill your garage with stuff you won't use.

17.5) Who controls how you run and market the business? It's not a job, it's your business and you want to be in a position to take total control of your business.
