The new CobaltPrint from Artifex Software, Inc. has been named a “RED HOT Technology” in the Color Management, Prepress and Pre-Media category by the Association for Print Technologies (APTechSM), organizers of PRINT 18. The RED HOT designation recognizes important product and solution innovations on display at PRINT 18 that are new or significantly updated since last year and serves as a roadmap to “what’s new” in the PRINT 18 exhibit marketplace.
“CobaltPrint is a new solution by Artifex, designed to deliver significant performance enhancements to the embedded printer and MFP markets,” said Artifex President Miles Jones. “Engineered from 25 years of PDF, PostScript, and PCL expertise, Artifex is proud to be the first to implement these significant performance optimizations for the embedded printer and MFP markets.”
As a RED HOT Technology, CobaltPrint will have a distinctive “RED HOT” sign posted at the PRINT 18 exhibit booth for easy identification during the event, and it will be included in the onsite event guide directory and pre-event publicity.
CobaltPrint is engineered for performance and developed specifically for the embedded printer and MFP markets, our innovative high-performance solution leverages emerging technologies for a faster, smarter, leaner print engine. CobaltPrint utilizes a range of optimizations to improve printing performance, including parallelism, SIMD, GPU, and hardware-based solutions.
