Renaissance Guests Mix-it-up with New "Cocktail Culture™"

Guests create their own signature drinks using new cocktail blocks.

New York, New York (PRWEB) November 10, 2007 -- Renaissance Hotels & Resorts is introducing an irresistible new Savvy Service Signature that is sure to have guests "buzzing." The Renaissance Cocktail Culture™ Experience is one of the exciting new elements that puts guests in the spotlight with a sophisticated and fun experience they can find only at Renaissance hotels. Built on a foundation of fresh ingredients and fresh squeezed juices, the cocktail culture experience explores professional bartending technique, signature cocktails, and engaging atmosphere, music, lighting, and visual merchandising.

The new service includes the custom Renaissance Cocktail Blocks - an exciting and fun way for guests to interact at the bar. Each block features different cocktail ingredient "building blocks," including Spirits, Barware, Fresh Ingredient, Method of Preparation and Flavor Profile. The interactive ritual "The Custom Cocktail™ Experience" will take place in every Renaissance Hotel and Resort around the globe at the same time every night when guests are rallied to the bar to experiment with the blocks and the bartenders by rolling different combinations to create a signature cocktail. The bartender then picks the winning combination, named for the guest who created it, and features it as the drink of the evening for all to try.

The Renaissance Cocktail Culture™ Experience sets the brand apart by using fresh squeezed juices in all of its core cocktail recipes and focusing on not only on what's in the glass, but the look and feel of the bar, generating excitement with handcrafted cocktails, and customizing the bar and lounge experience through the use of local cocktail signatures. The signature blocks are currently available at the Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square, the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel, the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, the Renaissance Chicago Hotel, the Renaissance Toronto Hotel, the Renaissance London Chancery Court Hotel, the Shelbourne Dublin, the Renaissance Paris Vendome, and the Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel, and will be rolled out at all Renaissance Hotels and Resorts globally in January.
