Looking to deliver unified access to critical information in its downstream operations, Hess executives decided to standardize its performance management on a single BI solution.

Hess operations and marketing managers will also be able to use IBM Cognos 8 BI Analysis for Microsoft Excel to perform multidimensional analysis on their data using a familiar spreadsheet environment. With IBM Cognos 8 Go! Mobile, corporate executives, as well as regional and district managers, will be able to use their wireless handheld devices to read and securely interact with corporate performance information and make informed decisions regardless of their location or time.
