Lincoln, NE (PRWEB) April 5, 2010
College students can earn money to pay college expenses while they learn how to make better financial decisions using National Student Loan Program's Financial Literacy Online.
NSLP is pleased to announce a new scholarship program for students that launched April 1 in conjunction with National Financial Literacy Month.
To encourage college students to learn valuable personal finance skills, NSLP is offering them a chance to win a $500 college scholarship while they learn critical skills for budgeting, managing credit, understanding contracts, buying insurance and more using Financial Literacy Online. This free, online resource offers personal financial literacy courses that are available on demand, 24/7 to help students make better financial decisions.
Financial Literacy Online offers eight short, self-paced courses that can be completed at the student's convenience.
The scholarship for college students is available through December 31. Students who successfully complete courses during April, May, September, October, November and December will be entered into drawings to win $500 scholarships. Students do not have to be a student loan borrower to be eligible for the scholarship, nor is the college the student attends required to use NSLP's products or services.
