Founder Bill Rasmussen (the founder of ESPN) said, "50 years in sports has taught me one thing - without sports fans, a game is just a game. The sports fan makes it all happen and the fan is what the College Fanz Sports Network is all about. This is a network of the fanz, for the fanz and by the fanz." Registration is free.

Plans call for significant fan involvement in developing the direction and growth of the website. Enhancements under development will add to the rich experience designed for each College Fan.

Home Page highlights include an Amazing Fan, Featured Colleges, the latest Hot Stuff, Polls, and the most recent and highest rated videos and photos. Registered fanz interact freely.

My Fanz Page is designed for the fan to show their stuff and will be fully customizable in 2008. This is where it all begins: fanz blog, contact other fanz, post private messages, add videos and photos, upload a personal snapshot and edit their personal stats.

The 1,348 college pages are the heart of the network. Any fan can start discussions about sports at his/her school as well as join discussions on any college page, check scores, schedules and standings and utilize RSS feeds.

Throughout this year, fanz will find an ever growing list of sports pages featuring NCAA sanctioned sports and activities from every campus.

"The College Fanz Sports Network is laser focused on the fan experience. Enhancing and fulfilling this dynamic experience for students, alumni, friends and their families is our mission," concluded Rasmussen.

The website was developed by Open Crowd and is powered by Clearspace.

College Fanz, Inc. is a Musser Group portfolio company.
