CK Franchising Inc., the franchisor of Comfort Keepers, today announced that Tim Purcey, currently Executive Vice President and CFO, has been appointed to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Purcey will be responsible for the national strategic and operational leadership supporting franchisee sales, IT operations, finance, as well as the business development and leadership programs to support multi-unit owner franchises.
Comfort Keepers is a leading international franchise network that provides in-home care services for aging adults, new mothers and others needing assistance with daily activities, enabling them to stay safely in their own homes.

Purcey started his tenure with Comfort Keepers as a franchisee in 2000. He joined CK Franchising, Inc. in 2002 as its CFO. He was promoted to VP of Operations/CFO in March 2003 and most recently in 2006 promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO. Purcey supported and led the development of many initiatives and successes during his tenure at CK Franchising, Inc., which supported the franchise growth from $10M in system revenues to over $300M presently. For the last three years Tim has represented Comfort Keepers and CK Franchising, Inc. in the industry with his responsibilities and role on the Board of Directors of the National Private Duty Association where he has participated on several committees.
