Hallmark Construction has been steadily hiring to keep up with its workload. Despite the construction industry’s unemployment rate of 22.5%, Hallmark Construction has added key personnel to both support and field operations for its projects throughout the Bay Area and Monterey Peninsula.

Most recently, Hallmark added Sally Starr to its project team. Starr has played an integral role on some of the Bay Area’s largest construction projects and joined Hallmark this month as a project administrator. Steve Allen was also brought on, joining Hallmark’s project management team. Allen is a venerable industry veteran with over twenty-five years of experience delivering complex projects, including OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) and Bio-Medical facilities.

In addition, the company recently hired Randy Faulkner, a seasoned superintendent with more than thirty years of industry experience. Faulkner has an extensive track-record, including complex projects for tech companies and bio-tech firms, and the construction of OSHPD facilities for the healthcare industry.

Hallmark has added to its project support team and marketing staff and looks to further add to its team as the company’s position strengthens in Northern California. Hallmark has also reached out to those looking to start a career in construction by growing its apprenticeship program and recruiting from universities.

“Hallmark actively seeks to strengthen its talent with a diverse collection of top university talent and those who have a well established career in the industry,” said Kortney Losch, Hallmark’s director of human resources. “Our strategy has helped us produce one of the best teams in the industry and solidifies Hallmark’s strength for years to come.”
