Bivins & Hemenway, P.A., a full service commercial law firm located in the Tampa Bay area, welcomes Eric A. Cruz as an associate. Mr. Cruz will be practicing primarily in the areas of business and real estate law from both transactional and litigation perspectives.

Mr. Cruz graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Management in 2007. Mr. Cruz also attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law and graduated cum laude in 2010. His education included a strong emphasis on business and estate planning topics, and he developed further experience with estate planning and probate matters by serving as a student extern in the probate division of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court in Alachua County, Florida. Mr. Cruz, who was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida as a teenager, is fluent in Spanish and has a strong interest in the growing role of the Hispanic businesses in central Florida.
