Recently, Peter Hiddema, Founder and CEO of Common Outlook Consulting Inc., revealed some key negotiation insights in two well-attended keynote speeches.

On May 12th, he delivered a keynote entitled "Negotiating Powerfully Through Change" to a group of managers from a major international financial institution. "This company has a number of important organizational changes underway. No matter how good the strategy is, if the human impact of the changes are not well-managed, it will fail. Why? Because a business is nothing more than a collection of people working together. As a leading player, our client engaged us to help them be proactive in managing these dynamics.", says Mr. Hiddema.

Then, on June 4th, he delivered "The Art of Negotiation" at a Top 1% Entrepreneurs Conference. "More than others, entrepreneurs need the cooperation and goodwill of others for their business to survive and – more importantly – thrive.", says Mr. Hiddema. ”In my presentation, I showed participants how to transform a negotiation from 'a battle to win' into 'a puzzle to solve'; how to turn opponents into partners; and how to create opportunities for all key parties in all of their most important negotiations.”
