College coaches are looking for the student athletes who are leaders in their game as well as in their communities, said Jeff Cravens, president of and The M Foundation, MISSION Skincare’s just-announced non-profit organization that promotes healthy athletic performance on the field and recognizes charitable achievements of young athletes off the field, have partnered to encourage and highlight well-rounded high school athletes who take their commitment to winning into their communities.

A community service component has been added to the athletic and academic profile students create on to show college coaches a student’s depth on and off the field. Each week, beRecruited and The M Foundation will select a varsity-level student athlete who consistently lives up to the values of community and dedication to a healthy lifestyle. This student will be recognized directly by one of The M Foundation's elite professional athletes (listed below) with a Recognition M Award. Once a month, one of the weekly winners will be selected to receive an M Award Scholarship for college. At the end of the year, one award winner will be selected to receive a $10,000 college scholarship and will also have a $10,000 donation made in their name to the local charity of their choice.
