Lancaster, PA (PRWEB) November 08, 2011
Tomorrow’s Pulse is a new site for up and coming bands. It’s a source for unsigned artists, as well some signed bands. Whether you’re looking for a way to promote your band or searching out the area’s best new artists, Tomorrow’s Pulse has you covered. Fans can search shows by zip code to see what live concerts are coming the Lancaster and Harrisburg areas.
Musicians have the opportunity to create a band page. In order to avoid the questionable quality of music some similar unsigned music sites allow, the Tomorrow’s Pulse staff screens all submissions. Bands submit their favorite songs, best pictures and valid contact information. Once a band is accepted, they can create their profile. Bands then upload music to their page, where fans are able to listen. The more “listens” a band gets, the higher they get ranked on Tomorrow’s Pulse. The top 21 bands get ranked in the “most viewed band” section on Tomorrow’s Pulse’s homepage, and from there the band with the highest ranking spot becomes the featured artist of the month and gets prominently displayed on the homepage.
Tomorrow’s Pulse was founded in 2008, when band-mates Paul Everwine and Joel Ginder were frustrated. They couldn’t find websites that supported unsigned musicians or met any of the needs of their new band. A year later nothing had changed, and they decided to do something about it. Their initial frustration with the lack of good unsigned music resources online lead to the development of a website that simultaneously promotes up and coming musicians and introduces the public to the best new talent. Tomorrow’s Pulse works because it’s by music lovers, for music lovers. The website gives promising new artists much needed exposure, while giving the public much needed good music.
