Concorde Career College in Kansas City Supports World AIDS Day
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) December 02, 2014 -- World AIDS Day is held each year to show support for people living with HIV and educate communities about HIV transmission and protection. In support of World AIDS Day, Concorde Career College Kansas City will hold a free community event on Thursday, December 4th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Mohart Center located at 3200 Wayne Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri.
Numerous community outreach organizations will be at the event providing free resources including:
• HIV rapid and conventional testing
• Additional STD testing
• Community resources and services
• Flu shots
Concorde takes great pride in giving back to area communities, and the Kansas City campus is excited to host this community event for area residents along with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Region VII, KC Care, MATEC (Midwest AIDS Training and Education), Good Samaritan Project, The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, and the KC Anti-Violence Project.
