Regular investment in the latest technology is absolutely central to our ethos in delivering the very best in conference facilities.
Lane End, Buckinghamshire (PRWEB) May 26, 2011
Leading international conference venue Lane End has carried out a major structural refurbishment of one of its key facilities in just three weeks.
UK-based Lane End Conference Centre has transformed its Wycombe Lodge building with the latest hi-tech presentations technology plus a new higher ceiling that allows more natural light to flood in.
All the work had to be carried out in less than three weeks so Lane End could meet all the bookings in its conference venues schedule.
Refurbishment work was completed on time – 72 hours ahead of a new client arriving at Wycombe Lodge.
The two main conference rooms in Wycombe Lodge have been equipped with the latest data projectors and screens while new 50-inch plasma screens have been installed in all five breakout rooms.
Free high speed internet access is available throughout the building with a purpose-built coffee bar in the lounge offering tea, coffee and freshly baked biscuits throughout the day.
Other benefits include 35 bedrooms within the building plus a private lounge and dining room – all of which can be hired for exclusive or shared use.
Wycombe Lodge is one of five completely self-contained conference buildings at Buckinghamshire-based Lane End Conference Centre which is a favourite with both UK and international corporate clients thanks to its close proximity to London and Heathrow Airport.
Lane End Sales and Marketing Manager Heni Fourie said: “Regular investment in the latest technology is absolutely central to our ethos in delivering the very best in conference facilities.
“But this time we wanted to take it a stage further. Raising the ceiling at Wycombe Lodge to allow in more natural light has had a dramatic impact that we are certain will delight our delegates.”
He added: “Like all our five conference buildings, Wycombe Lodge is completely self-contained. Not all major UK conference venues can offer this.
“Having self-contained buildings not only guarantees delegates’ privacy, it also means that we can refurbish individual buildings faster and more smoothly – without disturbing the clients in the other buildings.”
Lane End’s conference venue team decided to upgrade Wycombe Lodge following the popularity of similar refurbishments at the centre’s Wycombe Hall last summer.
Business at Lane End Conference Centre has grown consistently over the past 12 months with a very good level of business on the books for the next six months as well. This is why the work at Wycombe Lodge had to be completed within the very tight three-week schedule.
Refurbishment of Wycombe Lodge follows the launch of Lane End’s new Experiential Learning Centre, the first major facility of its kind in the London area.
This Experiential Learning Centre offers 20 different physical and mental challenges designed specifically to enhance workplace performance.
It goes further than traditional team building venues by offering experiential learning that is designed to be directly relevant to the workplace in question.
Lane End Conference Centre is set in 26 acres of Chilterns countryside with swift and easy access to the M4, M40 and M25. Facilities include 34 conference rooms and 104 bedrooms.
