In addition to being tapped to address iNACOL Virtual School Symposium participants, Connections Academy has been nominated for two 2009 iNACOL Online Learning Innovator Awards, in the "Best and Most Innovative Online Learning Practice" category. Nominated for the awards - to be announced at the Symposium - are two Connections Academy programs: Connections Academy's Star Rating System, a tool for students to rate online lessons, and help shape their education; and Connections Academy's high school peer-to-peer tutoring program in the virtual high school setting.
