Consolidated Label Company, a leading pressure sensitive label and flexible packaging manufacturer in the United States, has attained the ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems.
ISO 9001:2008 is accepted worldwide as the standard that defines quality. The certification indicates that an organization conforms to a quality management system which can consistently provide a product or service that meets customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

"Achieving the ISO 9001:2008 certification reflects the continuous efforts made by our company to assure that our processes are well-documented and products are well-tested," said Joel Carmany, president of Consolidated Label. "Our main objective is achieving superior product quality and reliability while providing the best overall experience possible to our customers.”

Consolidated Label’s quality system was assessed by Professional Quality Assessments International (PQA), which conducted audits in February 2012 and awarded the certification in March 2012.

“The certification process took many months of preparation along with many dedicated trainers to ensure that our employees comply with the standards. It truly was a team effort to accomplish this feat,” Carmany added. Carmany says that being certified provides more continuity and consistency as the organization continues to grow.
