The Paradigm v3.7 ERP solution features a number of enhancements specifically designed to meet the needs of today’s printed circuit board (PCB) industry, including a Plan by MRP (MRP Action List) function which generates and automates an action list of the required transactions that result after running MRP. Paradigm v3.7 also includes a non-nettable raw material processing feature which allows raw materials that are suspected of being defective to be categorized with special consideration with regards to an ERP transaction, so as to not be used in MRP reporting. Various usability and user interface (UI) enhancements were also incorporated in v3.7.
An optional add-on to Paradigm is the SAM module, which delivers real-time notifications to systems users and decision makers alike, via mobile device or PC. Whether people need to know when materials have arrived, when rejects occur on the shop floor, materials require inspection, or when a new sales order has been entered, Paradigm SAM provides a direct message to the proper user according to pre-defined requirements so that any required action can be taken. The module includes more than 50 alerts regarding sales, production, quality, materials, finance and maintenance, and is compatible with Paradigm versions 3.4 and higher.

SAM is especially important for those who do not regularly log in to the system, such as C-level mangers. Further, in the modern workforce the use of mobile devices is increasingly prevalent and senior employees are often working off-site or traveling. The alert system initiates notifications from Paradigm directly to the user, communicating that there are actions for them to perform.
