Performance Manager, and its counterpart module, Support Manager, together, provide PC optimization tools and help internal IT service desks proactively fix common end user problems. Consona’s Performance Manager automates and simplifies routine computer maintenance to allow end-users’ PCs to run optimally and improve performance.
Universally, PC performance degrades as files are created, modified and saved, applications are added, updated and patched, and so on. Performance Manager leverages Consona’s innovative sync, authoring and targeting technology for computer troubleshooting and repair—allowing organizations to proactively manage end user environments, such as applying upgrades, monitoring installed applications, or managing overall system performance.
With quick or advanced optimizations, Performance Manager can tune a PC based on best practices and known setting configurations for the system specifications or perform administrative tasks such as adding/removing programs, managing system restore points, and performing hard disk diagnostics. System administrators also can schedule tasks as part of the Performance Manager configuration, making them mandatory and unchangeable by the end user. Performance Manager runs atop the Consona Dynamic Agent software framework, which is purposefully built to work behind the scenes, carrying out these periodic, non-intrusive, and proactive IT services.
