Consona Corporation (Consona), a worldwide leader in providing customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and services for companies of all sizes, today announced at its premier customer conference, Consona Connect, that Rotobrush International, a Grapevine, Texas-based leader in air duct cleaning and an Intuitive user, is the 2008 recipient of the software provider's Transformation Award.
The Transformation Award, part of Consona's annual Summit Awards, honors a customer that has been able to either reinvent its business or achieve a strong return on investment in a relatively short period of time. Recipients of the award submit both qualitative and quantitative data that illustrate how the solution has impacted the customer's business model or overall business performance. Award recipients display significant business improvements and changes, such as unprecedented customer satisfaction levels, the introduction of new products and services, or increased sales.
Since its founding in 1987, Rotobrush has transformed itself from respected service provider to leading business opportunity provider, serving U.S. and international markets. But this strong and steady growth led to a major business challenge: inefficiencies in its internal systems. In particular, a lack of integration between its CRM and ERP systems, a limited ability to track the lifecycle of a customer through the sales process, and inconsistent reporting of key business metrics.
In 2007, Rotobrush began its search for an IT solution and quickly decided on Intuitive. Implementation began in September and finished by January 1, 2008--a tall order met by the Intuitive implementation team. Post implementation, Rotobrush realized the following returns:
- Eliminated the need for double entry of sales and order information.
- Reduced the time to close the books on a financial period from five weeks to one.
- Achieved new capabilities for creating, manufacturing and shipping custom parts.
- Achieved new ability to manage 1,600 marketing campaigns and track all leads.
- Automating the return merchandize authorization inspection, saving hundreds of manual inventory adjustments per year.
