Scott-Long Construction announces the recent opening of its Columbia, Maryland office, the company’s second office in the region. Headquartered in Chantilly, VA, Scott-Long made the decision to open the Maryland office in order to better serve a growing number of clients and communities in and around Baltimore.

Scott-Long reports that the company has been awarded a number of exceptional construction projects in the Maryland suburban area. The company knows their clients will be better served with a local office.

Specifically, Scott-Long has developed relationships with several hospitals in the area between Frederick and Baltimore. “We have to be there when they need us – our response time and our ability to adapt our processes really make a difference in the fast-pace, ever-changing, highly variable medical environment,” remarks Stephen Straub, Project Executive at Scott-Long Construction.

Straub will work out of both the MD and VA office while Project Manager Michael Dramby will run the operations out of the Columbia office full time.
