Ehrlich was inspired by her uncle to become a lawyer, deciding to follow in his footsteps to practice law. Ehrlich graduated from the Golden Gate University School of Law, which is located in downtown San Francisco. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2004. Ehrlich is also active in the community as a Mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister of Northeast Florida.

Ehrlich currently practices in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida as well as U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. She practices in family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and immigration and nationality. Ehrlich also offers services in French, German and Spanish.
